Folk song is the most ancient part of folk music. Through song, people expressed their thoughts, their emotions, their sorrow, their joy, their life. “Spring Wind Floods Water” is an ancient folk song from Szeklerland. It is perhaps one of the most beautiful pieces of Hungarian folk music, and many versions of it have survived. It’s one of the first songs Hungarian children learn in kindergarten.

Hungarian folk songs are typically diverse, yet almost all share a certain viewpoint from which the world is seen in its unity. The words touch the most fundamental human feelings, and through the lyrics a world that has already faded comes to life, the life of old-time peasants. “Spring Wind Floods Water” is no exception, and water, the fountain of every life, is the metaphor for love.
This pattern arrived like a fresh spring wind, carrying an abundance of leaves and flowers. It was like love at first sight. An idea came: I grabbed pencil and paper and the pattern was born in seconds as I sang the song.
The pattern swirls, flows, waves, rotates. True spring has arrived, when the accumulated energies suddenly explode into life and take control over winter.
Ring slings are probably the easiest way of babywearing. A great choice for front and hip carry. Can be used from birth up to 15 kilograms.

First, when you receive the wrap, it might be stiff and slippery due to the finish of the weave. Please wash it before wearing it for the first time, as washing and steam ironing will work wonders on your wrap. After a few wrapping occasions it becomes soft and the slippery feeling goes. Our wraps might seem thin to the touch, but don’t be mistaken: they are strong and supportive thanks to the density of the weave.

It is a 100% cotton woven product. Some pilling might occur on parts of the wrap which are used more often. This is a natural characteristic of the fabric. Occasionally, small yarn nubs and slubs might occur on wraps. These defects happen during the weaving process. They are usually not visible and do not influence the quality of the wrapping.
All wraps are made of Oeko-Tex Standard 200 and GOTS certified materials (including dyeing and weaving).
