A wrap is a jacquard woven fabric, at least 3 meters long and 55 cms wide, and double-seamed on each side. You can find it in different sizes, to provide the best fit for everyone\u2019s own figure and expectations, since you can use a wrap for multiple wrap-ways.<\/p>\n

You can use a wrap in many ways. There are wrap-ways that require longer fabric, others require a shorter fabric. With the different wrap-ways we can find the best fitting to our body figure, health status (for example, pregnant) and clothing.
\nThe wrap\u2019s middle is marked. The middle marker helps you during the wrapping process: paying attention to the marker helps you equalise the lengths of the two sides of the wrap, which means it\u2019s not just making the wrapping easier, but it makes the finished wrap prettier.
\nThe long woven wrap is the most versatile piece of babywearing equipment. You can use it from the moment of birth until the end of the babywearing period (usually around 2-3 years). You can front, hip, and back-carry with it.
\nThe different wrap-ways can seem difficult at first, and learning them surely can take some practice, but if you practice on a daily basis, you can soon get the knack.<\/p>\n

Not recommended for those who do not enjoy learning new things and practicing, or who may lose their patience if something doesn\u2019t work out immediately. Using a wrap requires practice, and the child needs to get used to it too. A babywearing consultant can help you to learn the basics, and after some practice you\u2019ll be wrapping your baby up in a jiffy.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
